Dick writes, "I am living on Montserrat in the West Indies. I have a Spirit 28 which is about as good as it can get in this region for sailing for two or three days at a whack, if you live ashore. But for sailing from one Island to another and live aboard for a night or two, its the best deal here in the Caribbean."

Equipment includes, " 15 hp Yanmar, electric head, pressure
water feed, LPG stove, Manual and auto electric bilge pump, and all the
bells and whistles you could order for her at the time. She is in good condition and a real pleasure to sail. She has no trouble cruising at 7 knots and can do a bit more under the right conditions. But, under normal sail conditions 4 to 6 knots seems to be the norm."
